Formazione

Training

Graduated in Physics in 1992, specialized in Materials Science and Technology in 1994 and Ph.D. in Chemistry for Engineering in 1998 at the University of Genoa.

Work activity and research fields

Researcher at ICMATE since 1999, deals with synthesis, processing and characterization of electroceramic materials. Since 2003 he has been active in the "materials for energy production, storage and transformation" sector, through various European, National and Bilateral projects. The main focus is on materials and innovative architectures for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) and electrolysis cells (SOEC). Since 2016 he has been working at the Department of Chemical, Civil and Environmental Engineering (DICCA) of the University of Genoa.
