Formazione

Research activity
- Deposition and characterization of mono- and multi-layer inorganic thin films by using chemical vapor deposition techniques (Atomic Layer Deposition – ALD – and Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition – MOCVD) on different substrates (plastics, metals, glass, semiconductors, etc) for photovoltaic, photocatalytic, protective, and self-cleaning applications.
- Bottom-up preparation of hybrid organic/inorganic materials through the development of micro- and nanostructured polymeric patterns and their subsequent functionalization.
- Preparation of micro- and nanostructured materials with superhydrophobic properties.
- Preparation of bioactive ceramic oxides by spray-pyrolysis technique.
- Handling, synthesis and characterization of air and moisture sensitive compounds (for CVD processes) to be used in inert atmosphere (Dry-Box).
- Characterization of materials by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD).
