Recovery and recycling of lead batteries component materials

Recovery and recycling of lead batteries: aim of this activity is to optimize recovery procedures of several type of lead batteries components (used, fresh, exhausted and refurbished oxides and pastels), to test the properties and optimise the recycling procedures.

Charge-discharge cycles registered on a grid (fig. B) with a pastel obtained from a 50/50 mix of refurbished oxide (STC procedure) and industrial oxide (SIA) (see collaborations).
