Laureata con 110 e Lode in Ingegneria dei Materiali nel 2006 presso l’Università degli Studi di Padova, dove ha successivamente conseguito il Dottorato di Ricerca (XXII ciclo) in Ingegneria Industriale nel 2010, presso il Dipartimento di Processi Chimici dell’Ingegneria. Dopo un periodo di lavoro nel settore privato, nel settore del controllo e certificazione di prodotto, ha vinto un assegno di ricerca presso l’istituto IENI (ora ICMATE) del Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche nel 2011. Dal 2015 è ricercatore presso l’istituto ICMATE.
Ha partecipato a numerosi progetti di ricerca, sviluppando e approfondendo le proprie conoscenze e competenze relativamente a:
- sintesi sonochimica ed elettrodeposizione di metalli e leghe
- sintesi sonoelettrochimica di nanoparticelle metalliche
- sintesi di nanofluidi
- caratterizzazione elettrochimica di materiali metallici
- caratterizzazione chimico-fisica e strutturale di materiali tramite XRF, XRD, SEM, TEM, X-EDS/WDS, GD-OES, metallografia
- tomografia industriale e metrologia
- caratterizzazione tribologica e meccanica di materiali massivi e film sottili
- studio dei meccanismi di lubrificazione
- tribocorrosione
- metrologia di superficie
I principali settori di interesse riguardano la sintesi e la caratterizzazione di leghe metalliche mediante metodi elettrochimici e sonoelettrochimici, lo studio delle proprietà superficiali di campioni massivi e film sottili, lo studio microstrutturale di materiali, la preparazione e caratterizzazione di nanofluidi per la lubrificazione, lo studio delle proprietà tribologiche e meccaniche di rivestimenti e bulk con funzioni protettive e anti-usura, lo studio dei meccanismi di tribocorrosione su materiali e rivestimenti protettivi e per il settore bio.
È correlatrice di varie tesi di laurea e coautrice di pubblicazioni scientifiche su riviste internazionali ISI. Ha partecipato come relatrice a numerosi convegni nazionali e internazionali. Collabora come revisore con riviste MDPI ed Elsevier.
- ATTIVITÀ DI RICERCA:
Born in Padua in 1982, she graduated in Materials Engineering at the University of Padua in October 2006 (110/100 cum laude). She passed the engineering practice exam in 2007 and started her research activity at the University of Padua as a PhD student, within the European project SELECTNANO, 6th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development of the European Union, about the study of multifunctional metal nanoparticles produced through an innovative sonoelectrochemical technique.
In 2010 she obtained the PhD in Metallurgical Engineering at University of Padua. During this course, she developed knowledge and expertise in the field of sonoelectrochemical synthesis of nanoparticles and physico-chemical characterization of metallic materials, using techniques such as SEM/X-EDS, TEM/SAED, XRF, XRD, mechanical and electrochemical tests.
In 2011 she worked in the field of industrial computed tomography and metrology in the private sector. Since October 2011 she was a research fellow at the Institute for Energy and Interphases (IENI) of the National Research Council (CNR) of Padua, on the theme "Development and application of methods of chemical analysis and microstructure of powders and coatings of metal alloys and composites" (head Dr. S. Barison). From November 2015 she is a researcher at ICMATE. Her activity concerns the development of preparation technologies of nanofluids and nanolubricants, tribological characterization of materials, microstructural and mechanical characterization of PVD films, tribocorrosion.
