Graduated in Physics, she has worked as researcher for CNR from 2009. From 2005, during her PhD, and after as researcher, her main research interests are synthesis, shaping and characterization (structural and functional) of ceramic powders. Studied materials are interesting for production, storage and trasformation of energy by solid oxide fuel cells and electrolizer (SOFC and SOEC). She collaborates with Dipartimento di Ingegneria Chimica, Civile e Ambientale, Università di Genova (DICCA-UNIGE), where from 2016 she has been working at MErgELab: Materials and Electrochemical processes for Energy.
She is author of articles in international journals, guest editor of some special issues and topic editor of Energies, MDPI.
She is interested in scientific dissemination, creating exhibitions and scientific laboratories and holding seminars in events dedicated to the promotion of scientific culture. She collaborates with primary and secondary schools of first degree for the realization of laboratories at school and with secondary schools of second degree through the activation of paths of Alternanza Scuola Lavoro. She holds training courses on renewable energy, climate change and basic sciences for teachers.
