Formazione

Giuliano Angella is CNR researcher since 2001, and at the moment is head of the secondary Milano branch of ICMATE.

Giuliano Angella is Bachelor on Physics at the University of Bologna, Italy, and was awarded Philosophical Doctor on Engineering Materials at The University of Sheffield (UK) in the Department of Engineering Materials. His main research areas are: 1) microstructural characterization through transmission and scanning electron microscopy with advanced micro-analytical techniques such as EDS and EBSD of materials subjected to high temperature deformations and materials; 2) modeling through physical based equations plastic deformations of metallic materials at low and high temperatures, materials as austenitic stainless steels, high Cr steels, conventional and advanced ductile irons and copper alloys. He was co-author of about 80 publications in ISI journals.
