- Laurea in Scienze Chimiche presso l’Università degli Studi Genova (2013).
- Dottorato in Chimica e Tecnologia dei Materiali (2018), Tesi: “Investigation of solid-liquid interactions in high temperature metal-ceramic systems”.
- Post-doc in Chimica dei Biomateriali presso Laval University, Québec (Canada) (2018-2020).
Principali attività di ricerca:
- Studi di bagnabilità di substrati ceramici da parte di metalli e leghe metalliche liquide; valutazione e previsione delle interazioni metallo-ceramico in diverse condizioni sperimentali attraverso l’approccio termodinamico (metodo CALPHAD);
- Master Degree in Chemical Sciences at Università di Genova (2013).
- PhD in Chemistry and Materials Technology (2018), Thesis: “Investigation of solid-liquid interactions in high temperature metal-ceramic systems”.
- Post-doc in Biomaterials Chemistry at Laval University, Québec (Canada) (2018-2020).
Main research activities:
- Wettability study of liquid metals and alloys on ceramic substrates; evaluation and prediction of metal-ceramic interactions at different experimental conditions through the thermodynamic approach (CALPHAD method);
- Studies on the surface modification of biodegradable alloys (plasma deposition and implantation) and their degradation in physiological solutions.
