MSc in Chimica nel 1980.
Attività lavorativa e campi di ricerca
Primo Ricercatore presso il CNR-ICMATE dal 2001. L’attività scientifica è relativa alla ricerca chimica di base e applicata, chimica nano e supramolecolare, scienza dei materiali, scienza e tecnologia per lo sviluppo di materiali alcalini attivati applicati (AAM) e Geopolimerici. E’ stato responsabile scientifico / partecipante di diversi progetti nazionali (MIUR, PRIN, FIRB) ed Europei riguardanti dispositivi molecolari e supramolecolari per applicazioni innovative. Ha gestito numerosi contratti di ricerca con le PMI che per lo sviluppo di materiali geopolimerici e coinvolto in corsi di formazione e borse di studio post-dottorato in scienza dei materiali, compresa la tecnologia AAM. E 'autore di oltre 110 pubblicazioni su riviste internazionali con referee dedicati alla chimica di base e applicata.
- ATTIVITÀ DI RICERCA:
MsC in Chemistry, senior scientist at CNR-ICMATE since 2001. His research activities deal with basic and applied research in chemistry, nano and supramolecular chemistry, material science, science and technology for developing of Alkali Activated Materials (AAM), including Geopolymeric materials. He has been scientific responsible/participant of several National (MIUR, PRIN, FIRB) and EU projects concerning molecular and supramolecular devices for innovative applications. He has managed several research contracts with SMEs involving geopolymeric materials and he is also involved in national trainings and post-doc grants in materials science, including AAM technology. He is author of more than 110 papers in refereed international journals devoted to basic and applied chemistry.
